Version 2.81a, released 27-May-2010
1. General: 'LINPAC-link' modules added to enable exporting data to LINPAC in their standard file format. Thanks to Ady Harris @ Vitacress and Pat Griffen & Pete Clarke @ Gryphon Clarke Solutions for their assistance.
2. Movements form: Date & Time Received fields added. Enables 'in transit' quantity to be displayed separately on Reconciliation reports. Also enables effective dates to be calculated from Date Received, which is the system used by major Australian retailers. Date Received may be keyed manually, automatically set to 'today' for 'on' movements with an option in the Customise form, or set based on Transit Days specified for the selected 3rd Party. In a master-slave system, Date Received is updated for exact matching records when importing a slave movements file - this allows transport company masters to have accurate Date Received for linehaul movements between locations (these movements are submitted by both locations but only the receiver will have Date Received). Thanks to John Turner, Vivienne Sulejmani & Katrina Hutchinson @ NQX for this suggestion.
3. Profiles & TP Accounts forms: Transit Days field added for automatically setting the Date Received of keyed movements. "Set number of days from the date received" delay type also added. "List of Effective Dates" delay types are no longer available.
4. Movements, Imported Movements & Import Data forms: Second Source field added to provide better history and audit trail of movement records. When importing a supplier, 3rd party or slave movements file, exact matching existing movements have the Second Source set to the import file name. "Unconfirmed Internal Movements" add to the 2nd Filter options in the Movements form. Selecting this displays location-to-location movements that do not have a Second Source. Thanks to John Turner, Vivienne Sulejmani & Katrina Hutchinson @ NQX for this suggestion.
5. Imported Movements form: Reverse Match field replaced with a similar field 'Tag'. It is still used to identify imported movements with matching existing movements, but is now updated using the Tag All button on the Imported Movements form. This is more flexible than the previous system of updating Reverse Match only when movements are imported and keyed. 'Tag All' is based on the currently ticked filter boxes. Filters are also improved to enable filtering on a date range, and cross-filtering the Reference and Con Note fields (imported movement Reference to existing movement Con Note, and vice versa). Thanks to Sharleen Poulsen @ AF Logisitcs and Ted Robl @ Scotts Refrigerated for these suggestions.
6. Movements form: Scanning (or keying) a docket number into the Scan field now searches for other movements with the same docket number. If one is found it jumps to that record, and a warning is provided if several matching docket numbers are found. If there are no matches the scanned data is shifted into the Docket Number field to begin entering a new record, the same as if it was scanned in there directly. This provides some of the functionality of two-dimensional barcode scans for scanning one-dimensional docket barcodes, and works with any docket that has a docket number barcode. Thanks to Carolyn McPherson @ Harris Refrigerated for this suggestion.
7. Docket reports & Movements form: Multi-line dockets now display the effective date for each line, allowing it to be different for each line. Pallets and Crates being transferred to Woolworths Australia is an example of different effective dates - the pallets are delayed but crates are a same-day transfer. 2d barcodes are updated to scan separate effective dates as well. Dockets printed from 2ic Web Pallets have also improved and the 2d barcodes on these dockets can be scanned into 2ic Pallets.
8. Docket reports: The labels on 'triple dockets' may now be customised. The left, middle & right copies may be changed from "Sender", "Other" & "Receiver" in the Movements Customise form. Thanks to Carolyn McPherson @ Harris Refrigerated and Belinda Field @ Star Track Express for this suggestion.
9. Import Data form: Various new import templates added and existing ones modified:
- "2ic Web Pallets slave movements file, version 1.21" - set up for importing.
- "2ic Web Pallets 3rd Party movements file, version 1.00" - set up for importing.
- "CHEP Movement Analysis Report" - set up for importing.
- "Loscam Customer Transactions Listing" - set up for importing.
- "CHEPMate STAR bill file" - modified so REF1 imports to the Con Note field and Date Received set up for importing.
- "Loscam mark-off bill file" - modified so 'Receiving Authorisation' imports to the Con Note field.
See the forum post here for more information on the Reference and Con Note fields, and where they appear on various pallet company invoices.
10. Export Data form: Various export formats added and updated.
- LINPAC - new export format added, specifically for Marks & Spencer trays.
- CHEP New Zealand exports - switched from the old fixed-width file format to the new CSV format.
- CHEP Australia export - modified to include the Date Received, Date/Time Created and Con Note (into CHEP's REF1 field).
- CHEP Asia - Con Note included in the export to match up with imports.
- Loscam - Con Note included in the export to match up with imports.
11. Trading Partners form: Separate field for Rej/Corr Email added. Previously rej/corr emails were sent to the regular trading partner email address, but now this may be used for the equipment orders email address, for example.
12. Trading Partners form: Default setting added to the Customise form for the Notify checkbox. Thanks to Steve Eldridge @ QR National for this suggestion.
13. Equipment form: Default fee fields for transfers and exchanges have been removed from this form. Default fees remain in the Profiles form, and this removes the confusion as to which are used when keying movements.
14. Archives form: Incomplete movements are prevented from being archived. A full list of pre-archiving checks is in the forum post here. Thanks to Belinda Field @ Star Track Express for this suggestion.
