View it in your browser.     World's best pallet control; You and 2ic     Friday, 20 April 2012     In this Issue   The Results Are In 2ic Cloud Saves Time For Culina Logistics An Important Change To Reconciling         Technical Tip   Con Note Tracing Con Note Tracing provides tighter control and reduces the risk of pallet losses by tracing ‘on’ movements to ‘off’ movements. Being able to identify untraced ‘on’ movements pinpoints what needs investigating to avoid losses. It ensures that every pallet coming on to the account is transferred off again. Tracing works at the consignment or ‘con note’ level. For example, a 20-pallet pickup may trace to delivery movements of 12, 6 and 2 pallets. Tracing may be used in any 2ic data file, but it is most commonly used by transport companies that have straight loading, i.e. where loaded pallets are not broken down into more pallets or consolidated into fewer pallets. As part of the trial, Culina Logistics tested the speed of 2ic Cloud; meticulously recording the length of time for identical processes in 2ic Pallets on the cloud and on their own server, and running a detailed comparison report at the conclusion of the trial. > Read More       An Important Change To Reconciling For users in Australia and New Zealand that reconcile CHEP accounts, there is an important change to the importing of bills. CHEPMate STAR bill files are still imported as normal, but it is now recommended to import the ZE9D ‘standard invoice’ file as well. Importing it immediately afterwards will update missing and inaccurate information in records imported from the CHEPMate STAR file. The ZE9D files can be emailed to you automatically with the CHEPMate STAR files.
