Smooth transition
Friday, 18 April 2008

Adelaide (Australia), Thursday, 17 April 2008

On 25th February 2008, CHEP Australia went live with their new SAP system. The tremors of this major system change were felt by every Australian CHEP customer.

From all reports, users of 2ic Pallets experienced a seamless transition into the new way of dealing with CHEP.

Says 2ic Software Sales Manager Debbie Cluse "2ic Pallets was compatible with all CHEP specifications well before the go-live date. Users could even simulate the transition by converting their data to and from the new formats to become familiar with changes ahead of time.

A massive change to the operations of a large corporation like CHEP is always a candidate for teething problems, and there were in fact a few of these. At 2ic we were prepared and able to respond quickly with updates of our own to minimise the impact on our users."
